Product description
KDV Flow Weir Type RF Diaphragm Valve, plastic lined, DN15 - DN150, rising handwheel
This KDV Flow diaphragm valve features a plastic lining on a cast iron body with a raised face (RF) flange connection, suited to chemically demanding media.
Features:
Type: KDV Flow Weir Type RF, plastic lined
Body material: Cast iron, ductile iron, stainless steel or steel (body), plastic lining of choice: ETFE, PFA, Plastic, PP or PVDF
Nominal diameter: DN15 - DN150
Process connection: DIN flanges, raised face (RF)
Pressure rating: PN10 / PN16
Operation: Rising handwheel
Diaphragm material: choice of Butyl rubber IIR, EPDM rubber, Hypalon rubber CSM, Natural rubber NR, Neoprene rubber CR, PTFE/Butyl backed, PTFE/EPDM backed, PTFE/Hypalon backed, PTFE/Silicon backed, PTFE/Viton backed, TFM/PVDF/EPDM 3-piece
Weir Type properties:
Bubble-tight shutoff to Class VI
Cavity-free design, minimises fouling and blockages
In-line serviceable (top entry), without removing the valve from the pipeline
No stem seal leakage - line media stays isolated from the mechanical parts
Standard position indicator for visual status control
Excellent control characteristics for precise flow control
Application:
The plastic lining offers chemical resistance beyond that of a rubber lining, making this type suitable for more aggressive acids, alkalis and solvents in process industries. Check the chemical resistance chart of the selected diaphragm material for exact media suitability.
This version follows, like the full KDV Flow range, the dimensional standard first set by Saunders® for the diaphragm valve in 1928.
