Check valve

A non-return valve, one-way valve, clack valve or reflux valve is a check valve that is used to allow liquids or gases to pass in the direction of the flow. Usually the medium pushes the check valve open at the gate and closes a spring or gravity to the non-return valve. In other cases, the medium itself pushes the non-return valve closed as it flows back. The difference lies in the design and the application.
