Description:
The TP52 resistance thermometer has a compact design and a spring-mounted measuring insert. The low weight of the transmitter housing minimizes the possibility of the sensor breaking, making the TP52 resistance thermometer ideal for applications with strong vibrations, such as in ultra-high temperature systems (UHT) and for pipes with small nominal diameters.
With the spring-loaded measuring insert in 4-wire design, continuous metallic contact is achieved between the measuring insert and the protective sleeve. This ensures an optimal heat flow and thus ensures short response times.
The built-in temperature transmitter TE62 with a 4...20mA output signal in a 2-wire circuit and a freely adjustable measuring range is connected via a 2-pin round connector M12x1.
The modular process connection system QUICKTEMP always consists of a resistance thermometer as the basic device and a protective sleeve as the process connection. The advantage of this system is that QA tests and device changes can be carried out without interrupting the process. This eliminates the need for downtime and cleaning of the system, and the risk of contamination for product and personnel is significantly reduced.
Due to the wide range of protective sleeves with hygienic process connections, e.g. VARIVENT®, Clamp DIN 32676, G½" with elastomer-free sealing cone as well as weld-in solutions, the TP52 resistance thermometer can be installed in almost any application with the highest hygiene requirements.
