Our key product features include precise and reliable measurement results and safe designs that contribute to your economic and technological advantage as concepts for value-added devices. The technical and application expertise of experienced specialists is combined with flexibility, service, and unwavering customer focus.
Food, Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology The food industry, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology share some of the same requirements for sensors. International guidelines and regulations demand increasingly reliable process control and high, consistent product quality. "Hygienic design," meaning the cleaning-oriented design of production plants and machinery, is now specified in the EU Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC).
The Hengesbach range is designed according to the criteria of hygienic design. Depending on the orientation, it meets various measurement tasks, such as in the production of ice and yogurt, fruit processing, or beer production. This is documented by EHEDG certificates, FDA approval certificates, and material certificates according to EN 10 204.
Key Features of Hengesbach Products: Very good surface qualities, Ra < 0.8 µm or better (electropolished) in stainless steel 1.4404 or 1.4435 Seals made of elastomers, coatings, and other FDA-approved plastics Absolutely front-flush process connections, CIP- and SIP-compatible Insensitive to pressure and temperature fluctuations in sensor technology Hygienic design of parts outside the process, e.g., smooth surfaces for residue-free cleaning on the outside High density of field housings for resistance to steam and foam cleaning, condensate up to IP 69K, and vibration resistance Products: Analysis Technology: Food, pharmaceuticals, water and wastewater, paper, and energy.... Measurement systems for the process analysis of industrial liquids are used in all areas of process engineering. With the Hengesbach product range for analysis, sensory parameters such as pH value and conductivity can be determined. Optical measurement systems are used to determine turbidity, color, chlorine content, nitrate content, and other chemical components of liquids. Based on process engineering expertise and application knowledge, the instrumentation profile is determined by process connections and designs tailored to the requirements.
Evaluation: For optimal integration and processing of measurement values on the system side, we support you with proven hardware products as well as individual automation solutions that meet industry-specific requirements for profitability and transparent process integration.
Pressure Measurement: Hengesbach offers a wide range of mechanical instruments and electronic pressure and pressure differential transmitters based on modern sensor technology and specific membrane seals with corresponding accessories for application-oriented solutions in pressure measurement technology.
Flow Measurement: For the flow measurement of liquids, gases, and steam, modern instrumentation methods are available, such as electromagnetic flow meters and Coriolis mass flow meters designed for specific applications. Other measurement principles, such as flow measurements with gases at high temperatures using dynamic pressure probes or nozzles, are also available.
Level Measurement: Hengesbach solves tasks in the field of level measurement of solids and liquids in bulk with powerful instruments for continuous measurement or level detection. These instruments are characterized by various measurement principles and high-quality electronics and are equipped with application-specific housings and corresponding process connections.
Temperature Measurement Technology: Hengesbach offers a comprehensive range of instruments for temperature measurement. In addition to mechanical thermometers, we also provide resistance thermometers (Pt100 sensors, thermocouples, etc.) and temperature sensors with various electronic interfaces, optimized for specific industries.
