2400 Safety valve made of stainless steel, angle-type with threaded connections
The safety relief valves of this series have obtained full approval for both vapors and gases as well as liquids. All components of the cryogenic safety relief valve are specially cleaned during the production process and are therefore oil- and grease-free according to DIN EN 12300. This makes each safety relief valve suitable for use in systems with oxygen and is accordingly marked.
Due to the use of high-alloy stainless steel 1.4404 and 1.4408, the safety valves are particularly resistant to extremely cold temperatures. An FDA-compliant sealing material is used for gases that come into contact with food.
The valve setting and seat insert of this cryogenic safety valve are individually sealable, making unauthorized adjustments easily detectable. Overpressure from 0.2 bar to 70.0 bar is safely relieved with a consistently high performance level.
Full-lift safety relief valve for the protection of:
- Containers and pipelines for storage and transport of cryogenic liquefied gases such as LIN, LOX, LAr, CO2, LNG.
- Tunnel freezer installations
- Dry ice blasting installations
- Cryogenic plant construction
- Dosing of liquid nitrogen
- Cryogenic grinding process
- Cryogenic machining
- Freezing plants
- Gases used in medical equipment
- Installations for cryogenic gases in contact with food
Safety valves are set and sealed at the factory.
