The KERAMESS pressure transmitters are designed for precise pressure and filling level measurements in pipelines and containers. The extensive range of process connections allows for versatile applications in the food and pharmaceutical industries, with the option for custom process connections upon request.
The vacuum-proof and extremely overload-safe measuring cell, featuring a ceramic membrane made of highly pure aluminum oxide, operates based on the capacitive measuring principle. The pressure transmitters are engineered to measure from -1/0…1 to -1/0…70 bar, with additional measuring ranges such as 0...0.05 bar and -0.1...+0.1 bar, catering to various requirements. Thanks to the ceramic membrane, these pressure transmitters are well-suited for handling aggressive and abrasive media.
The design, allowing for long-term medium temperatures of up to 125°C, facilitates the use of CIP and SIP cleaning methods on the transmitters. With high protection classes of IP67 and IP69K, the devices can be safely cleaned externally using foam and a high-pressure cleaner, preventing moisture from entering the device. Additionally, the electronics are fully encapsulated in the housing for extra protection against moisture.
All pressure transmitters in the 200/201 series are highly precise and specifically developed for challenging tank content measurements, particularly in applications with consistently high temperatures up to 200°C. Utilizing the on-site display with series 200 and the display and operating module OPUSi in series 201, the pressure transmitters can be effortlessly read, configured, and diagnosed.
The EASY TRANSFER function allows configuration data to be copied via the OPUSi module onto other pressure transmitters in series 201, simplifying commissioning for similar applications. The option of programming tank dimensions for standard tank designs and special tanks, using volumes calculated by volumetric measurement, ensures exact display of filling levels and tank content.
In addition to the features of the 200/201 series, the pressure transmitters in the 200H/201H series feature an integrated HART® modem, enabling remote configuration and evaluation using the HART® protocol.
