Compared to DIN 28120 specifications, our Type 318V is both lighter and more compact. Custom-designed gaskets for vacuum applications make the Type 318V a cost-effective solution for low-pressure conditions, bridging the gap between our pressureless Type 317 and the sturdier Type 320.
Despite reduced demands in comparison to DIN 28120, our Type 318V sight glasses maintain the high-quality stainless steel construction (1.4571/316Ti) that our customers have trusted for years. The use of borosilicate glass 3.3 following DIN 7080 standards ensures industry-proven transparency and durability. The valve is sealed with sealing rings compliant, using a range of materials, including PTFE (Teflon®), NBR, EPDM, and silicone, all tailored for vacuum applications.
If you encounter challenging process conditions, our specially adapted FEP or mica protective screen provides additional protection against steam and aggressive chemicals, including alkalis with a pH value of up to 14.
