BRV2S / BRV2SP Pressure Controls Valve
The BRV2S and BRV2SP are direct-acting pressure reducing valves suitable for steam and gases such as compressed air. These devices have a nodular cast iron body and are available with threaded and flanged connections.
Available Types:
- BRV2S: Bellows membrane in stainless steel
- BRV2SP: Bellows membrane in stainless steel, with external impulse line
For the reduced pressure, three control ranges are possible depending on the spring with which the controller is equipped. A color code, indicated on the control knob, allows distinguishing between different control ranges. In case of overlap between two control ranges, always choose the lowest control range to ensure better control.
- Gray spring: 0.14 to 1.7 bar
- Green spring: 1.4 to 4 bar
- Orange spring: 3.5 to 8.6 bar

Certificates:This device is available with the "Typical Test Report." Each certificate must be explicitly mentioned when placing the order.Diameters and Connections:
- ½", ¾", and 1": Internal thread BSP (BS 21 Rp). NPT on request.
- DN 15, 20, and 25: with flanges EN 1092 PN25.

BRV2SP and BRV2BP:
When very precise control or maximum capacity is required, it may be necessary to work with an external impulse line (only for type BRV2SP). The plug is replaced by a 1/8" nipple where the impulse line is connected. The impulse line (6 mm) is otherwise connected to the low-pressure line at a turbulence-free point (free, straight line of 1 m in front and behind the connection).
