HILLS Sight Glass with Integrated Check Valve
Combined sight glass with an integrated check valve applicable for visual control (downstream) of the operation of condensate traps. The position of the ball indicates whether condensate is flowing or not. The check valve prevents the backflow of condensate to the condensate trap and the steam space. Specific application includes adjusting an anti-steam stop system (SLR). It can also be used as flow indication for other liquids provided that the construction materials of these Hills are compatible with the other process fluids.

These products are available with a certificate according to EN10204:2004 - Type Test Report. Certificates will be provided only upon request during the order.

1/2", 3/4", and 1" internal thread BSP, on request NPT.
Installation Instructions:
Downstream of the condensate trap, both in horizontal and vertical pipes. For condensate traps with intermittent condensate discharge, such as the thermodynamic or inverted bucket condensate trap, place this sight glass at least 1m downstream of the condensate traps to prevent glass erosion or breakage due to thermal shocks or pressure surges. Also, take necessary measures to prevent injury to personnel or bystanders in case of glass breakage. Install it in a readily accessible manner to allow for the replacement of the discharge pipe.
