2700 Diverter ball valve made of stainless steel with threaded connections
Due to the optimal design of the flow channels within the Diverter ball valve, particularly high flow rates are possible. This significantly reduces pressure losses to the safety valves, ensuring safe operation.
The use of 1.4404 and 1.4408 highly alloyed stainless steel provides high resistance to internal and external influences. An FDA-compliant sealing material is used for gases in contact with food. Thanks to the oil and grease-free manufacturing process, the changeover ball valves are suitable for systems with oxygen.
With the ergonomically shaped handle and separate test connections, the Diverter ball valve is optimally prepared for the maintenance of safety valves. The Diverter ball valve is designed for the installation of, for example, two safety valves in combination with rupture discs to protect containers designed for the storage of cryogenic gases.
The requirements of the PED regarding redundant or diverse safety measures are met by this assembly in combination with safety valves from the 2400 series. Two additional connections for rupture discs are available on each side. If the safety valves need maintenance or the rupture discs need to be replaced, the side that requires maintenance can be closed.
For the storage:
- of cryogenic liquefied gases, such as LIN, LOX, LAr, CO2, LNG.
- N2 in pharmaceutical/food applications
- O2 for medical supply equipment
- CO2 for food/industrial applications
- LAr for welding
- Cooling installations
