Certificates:
Each safety valve comes standard with a Type Test Report certificate indicating the set pressure and cold-water test pressure. On request and at an additional cost: certificate according to EN 10204 3.1
Standards and Approvals:
SV60
- In compliance with the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED), falls into category 4 for gases belonging to group 2 and bears the mark.
- Tightness according to ANSI/API STD 527-1992.
- Lloyds Register (LR) Type Approval - Certificate number 01/00125 (E2).
SV604 (with DIN flanges):
- TÜV approved according to AD-Merkblatt A2, AD-Merkblatt A4, TRD421, VdTÜV 100, 100/4

The safety valve must be installed with the spindle in the vertical position facing upwards. A drain line must be provided from the drainage connection of the valve body. This connection should never be blocked. Open spring housings are recommended for steam boilers and must be used for valves with Tungsten alloy.
