The ACI flow sight glass Type 550 with a cast casing is a robust flow sight glass designed for flange installation.
Type 550 is offered in various steel and stainless-steel alloys with pressure equipment approval, including GG25, GS-C25, or 1.4408. Custom alloys according to your specifications are also available upon request.
The Type 550 flow sight glass comes standard with flanges according to DIN EN 1092-1, but we can also accommodate other standards such as ASME B16.5 and even provide customized flanges based on your specifications.
Sealing for Type 550 is achieved with reliable flat materials from well-known manufacturers, such as KlingerSIL C4400 or Frenzelit novaphit MST. Additionally, options include pure or modified PTFE, Garlock Gylon, and a wide range of other sealing materials.
For higher operating temperatures or alkali media, the viewing window can be equipped with an additional mica protective layer.
Integration of cleaning devices, such as wipers with PTFE silicone or NBR wiper blades, or spray jets, is possible. Lighting options, including halogen or LED lights with ATEX approval, are also available upon request.
